12oz bottle - brought by friend. Poured a clear copper color with an off-white head. Aroma was light pumpkin pie notes, plenty of nutmeg and cinnamon. Flavor had light cinnamon and some nutmeg in there. Light pie notes. Okay.

Bottle. Dark amber with yellowish-beige spongy large head, distinct pumpkin aroma, low carbonation, a bit flat pumpkin taste with a hint of nutmeg, abrupt finish. Not a very remarkable specimen,

Draft at the JFK BA lounge. Pours clear amber-gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose has plenty of spiced pumpkin pie, some toast, nutmeg. Medium sweet flavor with nicely balanced toasted malts, some further pumpkin pine, cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish wth pumpkin-laced whole grain bread, restrained cinnamon and nutmeg, all spice, clove. Nice, straightahead pumpkin ale.

A hazed dark copper amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with loads of pumpkin pie spices, cloves, ginger and cardamom. In mouth, nutty caramel malt with herbal notes and subdued notes of maple, cloves and ginger, light mineral notes. OK.

Crisp clear light amber body with a bit of a copper glow and a thick, four centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of squash, some light spices of nutmeg and canella and not much else - perhaps a bit of sweetness. Medium-bodied; Assertive metallic and bitter earthy malt with a very light sweetness, some minor spices and not much else - fairly bland. Aftertaste shows some toffee, a bit of the earth and a little squash. Overall, not such a great beer, but not horrible - just not enough complexity and definitely not enough good flavours for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Malvern, Pennslvania on 22-Sep-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 28-September-2012.

Bready pumpkin nose with cinnamon and allspice, not heavily spiced, but pleasantly bready. Crystal clear iced tea colored, medium cream colored head, good lacing. Pumpkin and allspice flavor, finishes with cardamom. Tasteful, not strong. Not bad, just a little tame.
