Friday 16th February 2024, Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury; Cask Beer Festival. Hand-pulled half-pint. Golden amber body, clean and clear, on top a snow white crown. Yet another citrussy beer!

Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured a medium amber colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, herbal, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with light, slightly watery, herbal, plastic, light floral, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Tried at the golden eagle Lincoln. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is pine and light ciTrus. Taste bittersweet. Medium body.

Gravity cask at the 2020 Leicester Beer Festival. Dark gold with a slight haze and very little head. Light aroma of lime zest, some kiwi. Taste is bittersweet with fruity hop notes disappearing mid-sip to reveal a sweeter biscuity malt base. More bitterness in the finish with gooseberry and lime in the aftertaste. Decent but not exceptional.

Cask at GBBF Winter: Poured a golden with white head. Aroma is perfume and malts. Taste is corn and grain malts.

8/2/2020. From cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival, Birmingham. Pours clear dark gold with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, mango and flowers. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation.

Cask @ GBBF, Birmingham. Small head with short suration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grassy hops, fruits, flowers, malt and has a nice bitter finish.
