Chocolate Oatmeal Stout
Delicate notes of roasted barley and chocolate with a medium body and a slightly bitter finish make this stout an instant classic.

Everything you in an oatmeal stout: smooth, creamy feel, notes of dark chocolate and roast, not too sweet and not too bitter. Excellent beer.

Draft pour pint at Rock & Brews, Kissimmee. Dark brown, dense, near black appearance. Thin off white foam. Sweet toasty, creamy malt, but not so much that it switches to dessert beer. Smooth darker chocolate malts, touch of vanilla, nice oat creaminess. Delicious stout here. Nothing to little, nothing too much. Ideal product in the style.

hmm, some good some bad. It's a pretty good stout as stouts go, the cocoa and roasty malt nose is quite nice. The flavor is semi-sweet at first, with a hint of bittersweet cocoa, but that gives way to a somewhat astringent roasted malt finish that blends with the bitterness to give it some hint of acrid. Semi-dry at finish. On the whole, going through the whole pint the beer seems balanced leaning to semi-dry.

16 ounce can. Nearly opaque dark brown color. Frothy beige head dissipates to a small bubbly cap. Roasted malt aroma has a hint smokiness to it. Flavor is subtle, sweet roasted malt with a hint of cocoa. Medium bodied and quite flavorful. A well struck balance of malt, hops and oats. Wonderfully made.

Roast and some coffee. Dark chocolate. Good balance and good beer all around. Good body. Dry bitter finish. Tap at Ybor City Tap House.

Nitro: Poured a black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is smokey roast malts. Taste is similar with smoke forward, roasted malts, smooth lingering tongue.

16 oz. can from Total Wine - Melbourne. Pours a very dark brown color with ruby highlights and a small tan head with fair retention. Barely any spots of lacing. Dark roasted malt and a little molasses in the aroma. Roasted coffee flavor up front with a little bitter dark chocolate in the finish. Semi-creamy mouthfeel, but a little thin for a stout. Decent profile, but a bit too much coffee flavor for my tastes.
