From the wooden cask at Bayerisch Donisl Thursday 17th January 2019. We had this with an early lunch of Kraut-Schupfnudeln mit Speck und Salat. Pours crystal clear gold with a white head. Fruity with a good bitterness, nice beer a little dry finish. Really enjoyed this. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Tap at Der Pschorr in Munich. Pours gold with a large white head. Mild Nobel hop aroma. Flavor is some and bready. Sort of Kolsch on steroids. Nice on a warm day.

From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Hackerbrau Edelhell". Huge white head tops a brassy gold liquid. Faint sweet malt nose. Zesty tart malt flavor. Citrusy malt finish. Light hop traces. Tasty but uninspiring.

Poured from the tap. Clear golden yellow with minimal white head. Aroma of corn and candied sugar. Taste is more of a corny malt dominant. A bit boring.

13th Dec 2014. On-tap in Hacker-Pschorr, Hamburg: 0.3 litre glass. Light golden body, bright, clean and clear. Mild (OK subtle) taste, no aroma: boring but refreshing. Typical Helles to be honest, not a lot going on!
