(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours murky dull orange-gold with a thick whitish head and heavy lace. Aroma of lemon peel, some orange, pineapple, fruit rinds, fresh pine, underripe mango, a little dankness. Flavour is lightly sweet up front, bitter orange, lemon peel, tangy zesty pineapple, unripe mango, touch of blueberry, grippy resins, quite clean yeast and retiring malt, finish is bone dry, lemon peel and orange oil with slightly peppery underripe fruit, sticky pine resin, not really hop burn but definite astringent grip into the aftertaste. Light body, oily, smooth filling carbonation. Very solid indeed, built on hops that avoid the super ripe orange fruit but have a nice balanced grip to them. Messo really has their IPA game under control at this point.

Cloudy beige blond beer, big aery irregular off-white head, little stable, adhesive, nice lacing. Aroma: lovely, lots and lots of citrus, a bit lemony, zesty, juicy, a bit dank, nice tropical fruits, good! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, resinous, hoppy, fruity, tropical fruits, lots of citrus, a bit floral. Aftertaste: very very bitter, resinous hops, dry, spicy, a bit herbal, more resin, tropical fruits, a bit juicy, citrus, lots of grapefruit.
