A very pale and hoppy strong ale. Well hopped using Chinook hops; a mellow bitter makes way for a distinctive citrus/grapefruit aroma. The ‘big brother’ to Tiger Rut

Handpull cask at the Borough Arms, Crewe. Light gold and clear with a film of white head. Light gains aroma with notes of lemon and lime. Bittersweet taste with a grainy and slightly soapy character, with the bitterness increasing to the long finish. It's a well-crafted beer but I don't find it that engaging. Not surprised by the high rates although I don't share their enthusiasm.
