Bottle, at Håndverksølfestivalen. It's a hazy golden colored beer with a dense light beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has vinegar and a good dash of fruityness, with some fruity sweetness. Some caramel. Woody hints. It's full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, with a vinegarish touch as well as sweetness. Mostly fruity flavor, with apricot the most evident. Caramel malts and fruity sweetness, along with some white sugar sweetness. Lasting finish with a bit too much vinegar for me. Actually, that goes for all of the experience, from the first sniff to the last drop swallowed. 190608

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy golden orange with off white head. Fairly active carbonation (have a towel ready when opening). Light wood, with alcohol and brett, mild tart pear. A bit rough around the edges.

Bottle: Poured a gushing deep amber ale with a large dirty white head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some vinous notes, some oak and light cherry with some herbal spices notes also noticeable. Taste is also a complex mix of oak, vinous notes, some tartness with an herbal and spiced finish. Body is full for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. A truly complex sour with excellent balance.

Pours deep mahogany into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Overripe tropical fruit and funk aromas. Thick with sweet plantain flambe upfront turning to funky papaya and mango in the lasting warm finish.
