Brassée afin de maximiser les arômes des houblons américains, notre Double IPA offre un bouquet de pêche, de pamplemousse et de fruits tropicaux. Ces arômes sont appuyés par une amertume résineuse qui équilibre le tout afin d’en faire une bière rafraîchissante malgré son taux d’alcool élevé.

Malts: Pilsner et Avoine.
Houblon: Cascade, Citra, Mosaic et Amarillo.

An old fashioned hop bomb with some added bells and whistles. A bubbly white head on a murky straw body. The aroma features pine, grapefruit and pineapple notes. The taste hits a lot of hoppy buttons - full value for the 112 IBU. A heavy grassy lead note, pine resin, tropical fruit and some citrus fruit are all in a pretty astringent hop mix. Slick and sweet malt underpin that barrage. Solid medium plus body with sustained and fresh taste elements.

Hazy golden colour with unfiltered, tiny particles looking like spices running through it. A big frothy, creamyish white cap, good retention and lots of beautiful lacing. Piney aromas with some light citrus notes. Flavours are more on the citrus taste with a touch of grassiness. Quite a refreshing juicy DIPA that starts off smelling like a West Coast, old school one, but ends tasting more like East Coast style. Nothing out of this world, but I like it!

Premier nez d’agrumes (pamplemousse) avec résine en évidence et base maltée aux notes de caramel. Couleur dorée / ambrée. Mousse grosseur moyenne, dense et persistante. En bouche les houblons sont très intenses, gras, résineux. La finale puissante s’agrémente d’une bonne chaleur d’alcool. L’amertume est explosive. L’alcool est bien balancé. Le fruité est par contre déficient et la balance toute vers l’amertume. Légère base maltée aux tons de céréales et caramel. Intense!
