On tap at Beer Temple. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of smoke, roasted malts and some sweetness. Flavour is roasted malts, smoke, caramel, bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Very nice beer, appeared to me as a schwarz with a firm hop bitterness.

Near black with a mediu beige creamy head. Sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, coffee and rye bread. Flavour had hard roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and smoke. Finished sweet and full.

Draught at Ølbaren.Black colour with small beige head.Smooth rosted and smoked and touch of ryebread.Flavor of caramel and malt and well balanced finish.

From tap Ølbaren. Pours dark brown to black with a dense and tan head. Roasted malt, chocolate and light smoked aroma. Light floral hoppy too. Rather floral hoppy flavoured. Lingering nice smoked note to a nice roasted malty and light sweetness. Smooth smoked and lingering sweet malty finish.

Tap at Beertemple, A’dam. Dark color. Aroma is smoked, roasted malt. Decent smokey flavor, slight bitter, malty. Very nice.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a thick dark brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, smoke, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, smoke, chocolate, and malt, as well as light notes of roasted malt, leading to dry, roasted chocolate finish.

Tap @ Beer Temple Amsterdam. This beer is black indeed. Roasty aroma, even a bit milky. Malty roasty flavor with notes of raisin, smoke and tobacco. Hint of alcohol. Satisfying.

Black color, small head. It has a nice smokey and roasted malt aroma. Good body, good roasted malt flavor, with delicate smoke, creamy, almost fruity. Perfect bitterness. One of the most drinkable ones, very good.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a slightly sweetish roasted malty aroma with some hints of smoke. Also hints of alcohol in the aroma. Sweetish roasted malty licorice and caramel flavor with hints of smoke. Has a roasted malty licorice finish with smoky hints in the aftertaste.
