- Sehr solides, klassisch gehopftes Pilsener. 330ml flip top bottle as Kleiner Grief pilsner, thanks to kolschtrinker! Pours clear gold, good frothy white head. Aroma has pleasantly grainy sweet malt. Taste is grainy sweet, soft carbonation, not particularly crisp, a little safe but not bad either.

Jägerstüble Todtmoos. Tap. Pale blonde. Just a bit flowery aroma. The flavor is a bit odd. Hops, malt and soap fight for first place. The soap, togerther with a touch of melon have a quick start, immediately followed by the malt, but the hops have the better finish, and win the battle. A happy end to this just above mediocre pils.

Tap at their restaurant by the Dom. Brilliant gold with a tall, airy head and lots of bubbles. Peppery hop, herbal nose, clean malt. A bit sweet and malty, with a crisp, dry, peppery finish. Mellow and soft, silky. A bit too sweet but decent.

Tap. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is lightly grassy, with the malt body shining through. Body is light, with a lively, almost crisp carbonation leading the texture. Healthy bitterness follows, with only a little malt sweetness trying to hide. Dry and bitter. A good take on the dry Pilsener. Solid experience.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly grainy and delicately doughy pale malty aroma with mildly notes of grassy hops. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm, almost tame carbonation. Mildly grainy malt character, slightly doughy and a tad papery taste with grassy hops in the background; slightly bitter hoppy and grassy finish. Lacks crispiness and a bit character. 28.X.16
