Das haben sich unsere Braumeister feinherb ausgedacht: unser Pilsner mit 34 Bittereinheiten. Der Klassiker aus dem Hause GANTER mit zartem Antrunk und kräftigem Abgang. Mit einer Stammwürze von 11,8 Prozent und einem Alkoholgehalt von 4,9 Prozent überzeugt das untergärige Vollbier durch seine kräftige Bitternote. Die feinherben Aromen bilden die Basis für den typischen Charakter dieses nach Pilsner Art gebrauten Bieres.

Tap. Clear golden with medium sized white head. Light fresh sweet grains and dough, very light nuts, medium herbal bitterness without being really grassy, more like soft Italian herbs. Crisp feel. Good pils, not too sweet and a nice bitterness that doesn’t feel chemical.

*Old rating, best before 12.2004. Grasig-herbes, schön rundes und mild-herbes Bier. Weich, herb, süffig, trocken. Lecker!

Clear blond beer, aery white small head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: malts, grain, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bitter, grassy, some citrus, malty, grains. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, bit herbal, cow fodder. Solid but boring brew.

500ml Flasche. Goldgelbe Farbe, schöne Schaumkrone. Geruch hopig, grasig. Geschmack angenehm herb, grasig. Die Bitterkeit hält sich lange.

Typical German pilsner, quite bitter and a bi grainy. Nice, but still a pilsner, so nothing special.

Half-litre on 11 Sep 2013 in the Brauereiausschank on Munsterplatz, Freiburg. Clear golden, with a full foaming head of white bubbles. Perfumed aroma, herbal and cloves came to mind as I sniffed and sipped my beer. Not bad at all, refreshing and slightly different in make up to most German Pilsners, not being so dry and hop orientated: it did however have a mild bitter finish to an otherwise semi-sweet malty tasting brew. Medium to light body, a good draught Pilsner.

Old rating. Clear golden, sparkling, minimal head. Aroma hay, grass, basement aromas. Taste medium bitterness, light body, fizzy, prickly, not smooth at all, not quite in balance.

Thanks to kevnic2008 for that one. Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, modest dry, fine malty-spicy notes. More and more wheaty. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Nice!

Tap. Clear yellow color, short head. Aroma of german hop, quite grassy, bit skunky. Decent bitter pilsener. After a long day of driving, it quenched my thrist adequately.
