Tap. Clear yellow color, short head. Aroma of german hop, quite grassy, bit skunky. Decent bitter pilsener. After a long day of driving, it quenched my thrist adequately.

Small white head. Pale yellow body. Light mealy aroma with floral notes. Dry mealy herbal grassy strawy taste. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Light body. Dry mealy grassy herbal aftertaste with chalky notes. Nice, but unremarkable. (0.33l bottle, some drinks shop, Strasbourg.)

On tap/draught at the Ganter tap (not the one at the brewery) the one by the cathedral in the centre of town, Freiburg 12-06-10 Pours yellow with a white head, good clarity. The aroma is a little strange, bit musty and of damp clothing. This lacks a crispness and s only slightly refreshing. Despite its faults I quite like it, soft in the mouth with hops showing albeit in a rather shy way, some maltiness, I found it slightly unusual but fine. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4

bottle, bought at Edeka in Haslach. Clear deep golden yellow with a large and solid white head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, malty baswe with nice hoppy flavours that have a "green" touch.

Pored a golden amber with foamy white head. Skunky grass field like aroma. Grainy ordinary flavor for a pils.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful golden pilsener with a huge and impressive head. Rather soft with a distinct malty feel and quite some sweetness with a discreet and balancing bitterness. Definitely a "Spitzenklasse" pilsener. 190702
