Bottled (BB 02/2010, "Kloster Spezial Export")
Courtesy of bierkoning, thanks Edo! Golden color, good white head. Cardboardish, light herbal hoppy nose. A bit harsh, papery hoppyness and beyond this some sweet maltyness. The body is ok, but taste puts this into the bulk category,

500ml bottle bought at Galerie Kaufhof, Stuttgart-Mitte. Amber body with only some bubbles at the edge of the surface. Metallic malty aroma with a hint of lemon. Sweet flavour of malt and corn. Lively carbonated and foamy in the mouth. Anonymous and easy forgettable (hotel room, 25.02.2009).

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts washy, turns then spicy. The finish is sourish and dry. Not so good.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized, stable white foam. Fresh and slightly sweet grainy, slightly strawy aroma with delicate herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation; mild malty base with a herbal background, dryish, bitter and hoppy finish. Solid quality Export.

Bottle: Poured a deep hazy orange to gold color with a creamy slightly off white head. Sweet wheat and banana aroma was pronounced. The flavor was a sweet yeast banana with a bitter metallic finish. Although its characteristics are similar to most Hefeweizens, I was surprized how it was not like sucking down a loft of
