Żubr Ciemnozłoty is an exceptional combination of noble malts and hops with a level of malt extract that is higher than in other lagers. It surprises everyone with its rich, multidimensional, ideally balanced taste that will meet the palates of even the most demanding beer lovers.
Ciemnozłoty is a smooth beer, easy to drink, aromatic, slightly sweet without tart aftertastes, but at the same time it will warm you up, has amber color and perceptible hints of hops, caramel, toffee and honey.
It offers a perfect balance for long nights after a hard day’s work.

Canned, 0.50l. Clear amber color with medium creamy tan-like head and rare tiny bubbles. Aroma of grainy malt, mildly roasted, grassy hops and some banana hint. Taste starts sweet and rich malty, followed with more sour dry fruity notes. Aftertaste is lightly bitter and spicy malty. Medium body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Positively surprised with it...

Can looks not bad. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts not as strong as exspected, malty-soft, fruity-sweet notes of peaches. Finish still quite mild, malty-spicy, a bit chemical. Okay.

Bottle (Cambridge Cellars). Clear dark rose gold with a light beige head that doesn’t last. Aroma of toasted caramel, plums, grass. Very sweet with caramel, nuts. Slightly metallic drying finish. Alcohol shows up at the end just in case I’d forgotten to wonder why this is 6.9% if I’m not sleeping in newspapers.

Putty looking, dirty beige head, fast gone over foxy-amber beer. Fruity, nearly grapey aroma around a lot of watered-down caramel. Bitter-nutty flavour. Fresh cucumber retronasal. Would actually be quite good, if the beer wasn’t so awfully watery and thin. Vienna can have a bit of bite. This is just a good base, but the bite is missing.
