Żubr Ciemnozłoty is an exceptional combination of noble malts and hops with a level of malt extract that is higher than in other lagers. It surprises everyone with its rich, multidimensional, ideally balanced taste that will meet the palates of even the most demanding beer lovers.
Ciemnozłoty is a smooth beer, easy to drink, aromatic, slightly sweet without tart aftertastes, but at the same time it will warm you up, has amber color and perceptible hints of hops, caramel, toffee and honey.
It offers a perfect balance for long nights after a hard day’s work.

500ml can: BBD 25 Jul 15, poured into a Hacker-Pschorr badged stemmed tulip on 14 Jun 15. Clear amber body with an off-white topping. Malty and boozy, sweet molasses rule the nose and taste although the finish is fairly dry. Liked the first half of the beer, struggled with the second half as it warmed a little.

Can from Prince International Supermarket, Ashford. Pours clear amber colour with a thick lasting ivory head. Sweet malt alcohol aroma. Not terrible but it’s not exactly subtle, better than most. Creamy mouthfeel. Aroma is not good, but the warming alcohol feeling is pretty cool. It is indeed Smak in alcohol form. I can’t finish the can, sorry. The aroma is poor. Some toffee.

50cl can from a convenience store at Virginia Water. A golden amber pour with a tight white head; somewhat musty aroma with some straw and caramel; very sweet caramel malt taste, with a slight touch of spice; making the whole thing quite satisfying.
