Double hopped with 100% USA sourced Citra hops. Green Devil is the big brother of our best selling Oakham Citra and very much the beer (a big, high ABV contemporary IPA) that our Brewing Director John Bryan envisaged brewing when he first discovered the Citra hop variety back in 2009.

A golden beer with an orange notes. A head is white and quite small. Aroma has biscuity maltyness with nice tropical fruitness, papaiyas, mangos and citrusfruits. Taste has mangos, grapefruits, and some papaiyas, biscuity maltyness, medium bitterness that is nicely drying the taste. Medium bodied. I had some expectations to this beer and they were fullfilled, even the beer was slightly different than expected. Biscuity IPA with the nice fruits.

0.5l bottle. Clear golden with low white head. Aroma: grapefruit, tangerine, light resins. Taste: grapefruit, malt. Medium body, soft carbonation. High bitterness leaving long aftertaste, ending dry.

Golden colored, clear, medium white frothy head, nice lacing, long lasting. Aroma is of some malt, medium to strong tropical fruit, passion fruit, grapefruit citrus, lighter pine. Taste is medium sweet malt, light caramel, medium+ aroma of passion fruit and other tropical aromas, citrusy as well and less pine, medium+ bitterness, dryish finish, hoppy bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. (bottle, Pivoljub, Ljubljana)

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with a one-two finger head. Aroma: citrus and floral, malt, tropical fruits, grapefruit. Taste: citrus, fruity malt, tropical fruit, grapefruit, piney. Soft-moderate carbonation, medium body. Good IPA.

On cask at Bow Bar pours a clear orange with some creamy, lacing white head. Nose has grass and light veg, lemon, soap. Flavor follows, soapy, lemony, mild honey, some lemon tea. Finishes a bit tannc.
