Kristoffel Dark is a top fermented dark coloured beer, brewed with especially selected roasted and coloured barley malt varieties. The beer has a full body, a rich aroma with roasted malt, caramel and coffee notes. The use of aromatic hop varieties provides the beer with a gentle hop bitterness. The beer has a slightly sweet, coffee-like aftertaste.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'orzo tostato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma color marrone chiaro che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto opalescente e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si depositano indizi di caramello, miele e pane tostato.

Bottle from a local Jumbo. Aroma is sweet dark malt, caramel, raisins, and brown sugar. Flavour is sugary sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Bland mediocre Dubbel.

Pours a clear dark amber brown. It has a caramel malt aroma with a little spicy yeast. The flavor is sweet and similar with the characteristic Belgian flavors pretty mild. It’s okay, but passing this off as a dubbel? Oof.

330ml bottle at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium to dark brown colour with.a mostly lasting frothy off white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is malt, Belgian yeast, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, roasty, herbal, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Day 6 Aldi Advent. Thin ruby brown pour. Nose is light fruits and toffee. Tastes of plum, caramel, brown sugar, and dates. Thin bodied.

33cl bottle from ALDI discount supermarket in Rethel in France. F: medium, tan, quick gone. C: dark, coppery hue against the light. A: malty, caramel, bit nutty, brown sugar. T: medium malty base, simple caramel, nutty, bit brown sugar, iron touch, medium carbonation, ok drinkable thing.
