Kristoffel Dark is a top fermented dark coloured beer, brewed with especially selected roasted and coloured barley malt varieties. The beer has a full body, a rich aroma with roasted malt, caramel and coffee notes. The use of aromatic hop varieties provides the beer with a gentle hop bitterness. The beer has a slightly sweet, coffee-like aftertaste.

Thanks Hrabren! Bottle at Sheridan's. Lovely cola body, off white tan head. Sweetish malt, coriandery spiciness, perfumey, nice. Light candyish maltiness ending dry, bitterish taste in the finish. Classic Belgian brune. Not bad really.

6% alk. Belgijska piva, kupio u Konzumu. Za jednu belgijsku pivu poprilično razočaravajuća piva. Mislim nije loša, ali očekivanja su bila veća. Ovo kao da je razrijeđeno sa nečim i ubačen šećer da podigne alkohol na tih 6%.

0.33 l bottle from a local tobacco shop in Ilica, Zagreb. Clear dark brown with a medium to large, diminishing tan head. Fruity, dried fruit, sugary and toasty. Sweet, like a chocolate biscuit. Light body, too light, medium carbonation, light toasty finish. 535212=2.7

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep ruby pour with one finger frothy beige head. Pretty good retention, some lacing on the glass. Caramel, roasted malts and herbs on the nose. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Regular texture, light but not completely watery. Bittersweet taste, unfortunately bitterness is mostly acidic. Aroma is heavily malty, both caramel and roasted. Herbal liquor, slightly peppery. Sugar. Sticky mouthfeel, slight alcohol burn. Metal acidity throughout the aftertaste ruining this one a bit. Bitter finish, a bit dry. Overall, watery and with lots of metal acidity. Drinkable but not something I’d drink again. Mediocre effort.
