Toasty, roasty, Porter mixed with grape soda. Fruity, grape pop,. I can’t find peanut butter anywhere. Subtle roast, this is a big meh.

Tap at Beau’s. A peanut butter and grape porter, hah! Deep cola brown with a beige head. Chocolate and peanut aroma. Light bodied and semi-dry. Lots of chocolate, hints of peanuts (not such a fresh keg unfortunately) but you get the grape jelly in the finish and it drinks well. 3.7

A reddish copper porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, light caramel chocolate malt with light grape, grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a sweet chocolate malt with grape jelly, peanut, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. On tap at L’autre oeil.

Pint enjoyed at the Loon. Pours a very dark brown colour, almost black with a small beige head and some dirty lacing. Roasted peanut scent over roasted malts and berry notes, among other dark fruits and coffee. Berry flavours with other dark fruits (some grapes) and mild roasted malts. The peanut butter is quite mild in the mouth, hardly noticeable. Medium-bodied and not syrupy, so decent mouthfeel. Refreshing fruity porter that is very well-brewed and would have from time-to-time. No peanut butter is left at the bottom of the beer like the Sawdust City one I had a few weeks back.
