Verre, 4 onces, en fût, bue sur place, savourée le 13 août 2018; œil : bronze avec une teinte dorée, limpide, pas d’effervescence, pas de mousse, pas de dentelle; nez : légère acidité, légère aigreur, caramel, léger fruité, malt; bouche : légère acidité, légère aigreur, caramel, léger fruité, malt, finale acidulée avec bonne présence de malt, corps moyen, carbonatation légèrement sous la moyenne, moyennement sucrée, texture vineuse; en résumé : correct

Bottle: Poured a clear reddish color ale with a medium off-white foamy head with light retention and some lacing. Aroma of cherry and oak with light tart notes is pleasant and refreshing. Taste is a nice mix of cherry and oak notes with some light tart notes with hints of residual sugar notes. Body is about average with medium carbonation. Very pleasant and refreshing take on the style without the level of complexity of Rodenbach.

Aucune effervescence, aucune mousse ;-( Ça part mal vous me direz, mais ça sent les bons fruits rouges vieillis sur bois. Le goût suit le parfum, avec une forte présence boisée et une pointe de vanille. Cette bière a de belles qualités qui sont toutefois un peu dissimulées au lieu de sexprimer. Cest une excellente base à développer, dans un style peu représenté au QC...
