Bottle at home, 26th November 23. Pours a black beer, a rim of tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, cocoa, aromatic, hoppy. Taste is aromatic, roasted malts, cocoa, chocolate, floral. Another banger from Kernel, amazing low abv stout

330ml bottle, 4.8%. Pours black with a dense beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast malts, citrus peel. Taste of roast malts, dark chocolate, well hopped giving citrus peel flavours, dry and bitter. Simple and effective, one of the best lower ABV stouts I've ever had.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee and dark chocolate, light citrus. Taste is burnt coffee and orange. Dry finish.

Keg at the Peterborough beer festival 2023. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty roasted bitter and citrus. Rich body.

Bottle at home. Pours black with light tan head. Aroma is fresh with citrus, pine, coffee & chocolate. Taste is quite bitter, earthy, roasty, cold brew coffee, dark chocolate, some citrus & pine. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry roasty finish. Classy stuff

Bottle 330ml. [ As The Kernel Dry Stout Citra ].Clear dark black - brown amber colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, dusty, leather. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, dusty, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20151204] 8-3-8-3-16

33cl Bottle from Burg Bieren. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of loads of high-end chocolate, cocoa, some citrus, roasted malts, pralines, smells gorgeous. Flavour is light sweet, malty, roasted malts, tobacco, chocolate, citra hops certainly there, bitter nutty, roasty and hoppy finish. Light bodied, a bit watery but quite good.

Bottle, 330 ml from the brewery. Pours black with medium sized beige head. Roasted malts, hops, pine and citrus notes, coffee. Solid bitterness. Medium bodied. Quite good.
