Bouteille 341ml.

Purchased at Marché Omni (formerly Marché Jovi). Pours a cloudy beige-amber colour with a foamy off-white head that disappears at a medium pace and creates soapy lacing. Typical Schoune yeast smell that is kind of sour (like it is outdated). Mild fruit in the background. Sweet malt taste with a no burning mouthfeel. Is this really 8% (as it feels quite watery like a light beer). Smooth, but not like those great Belgian strong beers that are matured for a while. Seems like some maple syrup in the aftertaste. Not really thrilled with this one.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty yellow color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and some lacing. Aroma of overly sweet malt with spicy yeast and phenolic ester. Taste is not as bad as expected with some lightly overly sweet malt with a spicy peppery yeast and some light alcoholic phenols. Body is quite full with good carbonation and light alcohol is apparent. Not as bad as the rating would suggest but lacking some complexity and subtlety.

Sickly hazy yellow beer with a thick , quickly collapsing, creamy white head. Light aroma of band-aid and mercaptoethanol (stinky eggs) with doughy notes. In mouth, sweetish malt with rubbing alcohol, light fruity esters, rather cloying and overall, unpleasant.
