amber pour, very small thin head, that didnt last very long. Aroma is quite malty, no maple to speak of. Flavour is again, malty, but not a good malt, a cheap tasting malt. Finish is bitter but in a bad way. No way did i taste any maple, all i tasted was bad beer. Drain pour.

Bouteille 650ml.

Originally rated June 2006. This spring maple lager pours a rich golden-amber colour with a yellow-white head that disappears at a medium pace. Mild lacing all around with tiny light bubble carbonation that is steady. Sweet maple nose with a pleasant purfume of hop. Watery mouhfeel that is slightly syrupy. Beautiful sweet touch of sap that is not overly sugary. The sweetness then disappears slowly into the aftertaste. Some smokiness, but would prefer it more dominant. Overall, a nice treat for springtime and a good representation of a Canadian resource.

Bottle: Poured a clear copper color lager with a medium foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light maple taste with some good caramel malt notes. Taste is a mix between some light fruity ester, some light maple syrup and some caramel malt notes. Body is average for the style with some average carbonation. Not too bad for the style but turn bad when gets too hot, this one must be drank cold.

Dark golden lager with an extra thick overflowing off white head. Bottle was way overcarbonated, however, the foam only builds up as you pour. Aroma of soap and maple. In mouth, a light maple lager with harsh acidic points, crid and tart. Wasn’t infected...maybe carbonic acid formation? Bottle from LCBO, Spring 2006.
