Deep, pitch black coloured body with a thick, dense, NITROGENATED head - crazy for the style! Subdued aroma of roasted malt, coffee and a touch of chocolate. Full-bodied; Deep Pungent roasty taste with some chocolate and definitely some coffee tastes, with a hint of pit fruits at the end. Good aftertaste, roastiness abound with a good bitter oaky & vanilla taste. Overall, nice and a good take on an Imperial stout that differs than most! I sampled this Beer on draught at Saint Bock in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 04-December-2010 and rated it using the brewpubs free wifi!

A deep dark stout with a thin moka head. In aroma, a nice chocolate and coffee, light chalky and mineral notes, and light dark fruits. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate over sustained dark bitter coffee, with molasses, British hops, a bit simple but effective. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 1 2009.
