Bottle at Siren. It pours darkest brown-black with a decent light tan head. The nose is toasty sugars, rich roast, liquorice, plain chocolate, earthy roast, honeycomb and sweet toffee. The taste is smooth, sweet roast, toasty brown sugar, liquorice, warming alcohol, whisky, earthy, light medicinal, warming alcohol, peppery and chocolate with a dry, warming finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Interesting stuff. The speyside wins it for me, but looks like I?m alone in that preference...
