on tap at the brewpub. nice peppery/spicy aroma with some yeast, and slight hops. the flavour is very spicy, with some traces of apples, and pears, a nice saison.

Bought at Joanette, summer 2005 (so 6 mo. old). Sickly murky golden ale with a huge resilient white head. Actually, quite interesting aroma of wheat malt, cinnamon and strawberries, some honey, and cloves. In mouth, good lightly sweet malt, with cloves and ginger, sour notes, but overall, quie a nice. Medium bodied.

Bottle: Poured a brown/red color ale with a medium brown foamy head with good retention. Aroma of spices with some honey, lots of honey and some very light funkyness. Taste is sweeter the expected and honey seems to be taking a bit too much place overall. Wheat is totally undetectable but spices mix and roasted malt make for something truly unique. I did enjoy that one though I like my saison with more funkyness.
