A billowy white head sustains well and leaves long-lasting lacing. A clear golden body with evident effervescence. Nose features mixed herbs, honey and a slight grassy hoppiness. Same for the taste with more pronounced herbs, some spiciness and a touch of licorice. Very nice.

On tap at Le Saint-Bock, pours a hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out fruit pie, rustic saison yeast and a touch of spiciness. Flavour is like a cinnamon apple pie, with some coriander, fruit pie, and saison yeast. Extremely fruity and moderately spicy. Interesting beer.

Well, this is a special beer all-around with this bison grass which I have not had before, and first experience from this brewery. Hazy golden colour with a warm cap that stays a while, leaving some good thick foamy lace. You can smell the different grass with some honey sweetness in the background. This is also what I feel in the flavours. The grass seems to be blended, so milder but the honey feel is what lingers with me. And not any type of honey, but unpasteurized one. It is a nice different way of approaching a saison. A good first experience.

Il semble, à voir ma note, que je sois un fan de l'herbe de bison ;-) Certaines bières du Naufrageur ont, au fil des ans, aussi su titiller mes papilles de la même façon que ce végétal qui m'était alors inconnu . C'est juste bon, inusité et bien fait. Voilà! Une Pilsner qui goûterait ça, ça serait juste parfait et ça me réconcilierait avec le style il me semble... Mais pour l'instant, cette Saison est tout simplement délicieuse. Qu'en pensez-vous?

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light vanilla notes, grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with loads of vanilla, cardamom, cream, light coconut, interesting if a bit cloying. On tap at brewery.
