Gebraut mit Öko-Weizen, Gerste aus ökologischem Alb-Leisa-Anbau, Öko-Dinkel als dritte Kornart und vergärt in offener Obergärung. Dies braucht Zeit und erfordert echte Handwerkskunst des traditionellen Brauens. So bleiben Aromastoffe, Mineralien und Vitamine und eine lebendige Hefe als wertvolle und schmackhafte Bestandteile im Bier erhalten.
Die Braugerste zum Berg 3-Korn-Hefeweizen wird zusammen mit Alblinsen angebaut – mit gutem Erfolg. Denn nicht nur auf dem Teller passen Linsen und Bier gut zusammen, sondern auch auf dem Acker. Denn die Hülsenfrucht Linse ist eine rankende Pflanze und braucht eine Stützfrucht wie Braugerste, um nicht am Boden zu bleiben. So stammt die Öko-Braugerste für das Berg 3-Korn-Hefeweizen aus dem Alb Linsen-Gerste-Projekt.

(bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, slightly toasty malty aroma with notes of wheat and a fruity touch of banana and berry-fruits. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty and moderately wheaty taste with mildly fruity notes; slightly sweet and also a bit slim finish with a tinge of sourness. So là-là. 21.V.12

Bottle, danke Martin. Cloudy orange brown, offwhite head. Almond, spice and bread aroma. Almond on front, orangepeel, piment, toasted bread. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Spicy, yet fresh and pleasant.
