Pours a hazed golden colour with slight amber. The head is foamy, lasts long and delivers lots of lacing. Not sure if this one too old, or infected, but some mild sourness appears in the nose. The rest seems like the hops overpower the wheat, so not feeling the banana notes. Maybe a little in the taste, but not really well-balanced all-around. Love the dark label, good appearance but not much else here.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light cloves notes with some wheat malt is nice. Taste is a mix of wheat malt with light residual sugar notes and some light cloves notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. A bit short on complexity with good enough drinkability.

Glass, 5-ounce, draught, at Microbrasserie Goudale, savoured on October 10 2013; eye: straw with a golden hue, clear, no effervescence, no head, no lacing; nose: really, really, really, really light malt; mouth: really, really, really, really light malt, finale in really, really, really, really, really light residual sugar, light body, below-average carbonation, slightly sweet, thin; overall: is competing with mass-produced beers, without any interest FRANÇAIS Verre, 5 onces, en fût, bue à la Microbrasserie Goudale, savourée le 10 octobre 2013; œil : paille avec une teinte dorée, limpide, pas d’effervescence, pas de mousse, pas de dentelle; nez : très, très, très, très léger malt; bouche : très, très, très, très léger malt, finale en très, très, très, très, très légère présence de sucre résiduel, corps léger, carbonatation sous la moyenne, très légèrement sucrée, mince; en résumé : fait compétition aux bières de masse, sans intérêt
