Vintage 2015. 330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a tiny beige head. Nose is extremely sweet, with vanilla beans, intense black liquorice, molasses, lots of booze, and dark fruits. Flavour has a nice sherry-like oxidation, lots of booze, dark fruits, molasses, black liquorice, and vanilla beans. Rather rough and hot, but it seems like it's mellowed and refined. Quite pleasant extreme beer.

Thanks to AleRider78 for sharing this one. Pours a real dark brown colour with slight prune highlights, a beige head and minimal lacing. Overload of dark fruits in the nose with some dates, prunes, and lots of richness. Like the aromas, loads of dark fruits in the taste with the richness at first, but a nice milder finish. Licorice follows and lingers a long time. Amazing rich dark fruits in this one, but not to be drunk as a beer, but a very nice strong liqueur like port. Sip away my friends.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with almost no carbonation. Aroma of dark confit cherry and light chocolate notes is quite intriguing. Taste is a very sweet mix of chocolate notes with some cherry and fruity ester with quite a bit of warming alcohol notes. Body is about average with syrupy notes and almost no carbonation. Too sweet to drink the whole bottle and alcohol is too dominant but there is some interesting flavours in the base.

A clear brown ale with no head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, licorice notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of dark fruits, molasses, licorice, light soy sauce, loads of alcohol, very nice. Bottle at Montréal Xmas gathering 2015.
