Tiny bottle pour at Festival Bouffe, Bière & Boisson in Saint-Hyacinthe. Clear dark brown color, still. Aroma of burnt espresso, port wine that's past date, licorice. Taste is rich, boozy dark chocolate and figs. Taste is mixed dark fruit, burnt caramel, more coffee. Boozy.

A dark brown ale with no head, viscous as oil. In aroma, burned Caramel malt with peated notes, scotch, meaty notes, licorice and booze. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with vinous notes, stewed prunes, bourbon barrel, licorice notes, sweet chocolate, loads of boozy alcohol, nice. Bottle at Mondial 2015.

In tribute to the US brewers who were a bad influence on Quebec brewers! Hahaha you gotta love the name, push everything to extremes. It’s a deep ruby pour with a big malty sweet aroma. A silky viscous satisfying mouthfeel. The taste is port, sherry, maple syrup & burnt caramel. An incredible accomplishment.
