Bottle that my mum and Keith picked up for me in Birmingham, (cheers mum and Keith) consumed at home Thursday 6th April 2016 . Light gold, good clarity, tidy white head, looks great. Subtle appley nose, taste is sweet apple with a reasonable bite. Little bit of eggyness, ok but not going overboard with this. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov11 3.1

Clear golden color with a bubbly white head that soon vanish. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Semi dry texture. Lots of apples in the flavor. Just felt a bit dull and anonymous.

330ml bottle. Pours clear gold with receding white head. Aroma is sharp fleshy fresh apple. Taste is bright, fruity, flavoursome with a slightly sour, raw, dry woody apple finish. The sour element was just mild enough against the crisp fruit for this to win me over. Not bad.

Small slightly bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is mild and slightly fresh, dry apples, hay, apple skin, sorrel, yeast, grass, minerals. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, apple skin, slightly sour apples, hay, yeast, grass, sorrel, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Quite odd ring pull lid on this bottle. Makes a nifty popping sound when opened. Smell is not as good as many ciders but it looks pretty good. Looks like your typical pale yellow cider. Taste is quite friendly. Looking on the label it says it has phenylalanine in it, this makes me a bit nervous. Yes, except for the phenyls on the label, this stuff is a good drink. Not bad overall, was expecting a soda pop but much better than woodchuck IMHO. Downed this bottle rather quickly, heheh. At 4.5% could do a few of these if my stomach could take it.
