500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, fresh bread and light citrus hops. Flavour is more like a Belgian ale upfront, with loads of yeast, fresh bread and dough; then it sort of transitions into a more hoppy IPA-like character, with citrus and floral hops galore. Finishes doughy, semi-sweet and floral hoppy. Well-made, highly drinkable, Belgian IIPA hybrid.

I had tasted this beer in January 2010 and it was time for a retaste. Aromas are not sticking out much; we can feel a bit of malty notes as long as a bit of flowers, herbs and pepper; but they are very hard to dig out. Appearance: medium golden color, a bit hazy, the head is creamy with good lacing and average lasting. Flavors like thyme, rosemary, pepper, hebs, hay and spices can be found but very moderately. We can also feel a slight acidic base through all tasting process.Finish is moderate bitterness and light acidic with average duration. Although alcohol is 9%, the feel is moderate. If I compare with the bottle I tasted in 2010, it is indeed decreesed in flavors and aromas. At that time they were exceptionnally sticking out. What happenned, I dont know.

Bouteille 500ml (2010).

Bottle: Poured a deep hazy amber color ale with a very large foamy head with nice off-white foamy head with good retention and some very good lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with nice dry floral hoppy notes. Taste is also a well balanced mix between some nice fruity notes with dry floral notes and light citrus notes. Body is quite full with limited filtration and great carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed and something I would like to have more regular access to.
