Smells like a sour Belgian wit with sour cherry extract. The flavor is much of the same. This is yet again another pitiful offering from trafalgar. Seriously why do they keep getting shelf space with the lcbo?

A hazed golden ale with a super thick off white head. A nice gueuzy aroma, epsom salts, light cherry notes. In mouth, a smooth creany lactic cherry taste....if this is infected, the result was not too bad. Bottle from LCBO, tasted Nov. 2010.

First beer reviewed in Canada since my trip to Tennessee (June 2010). Of course, being from Trafalgar (I am never expecting much), but they seem to get better and better every year (and recently, they are getting to be above average). Alright, so this one pours a golden colour with with pink hue to it, almost being amber. Decent head that stays a while and leaves a bit of lace. Bomber brown bottle with the side label ripped saying, OC 10 (best before October 2010). Very light aromas of kriek-like sourness, but light - I say. Becomes a bit hazy at last pour. Mild cherry taste with their usual grain kicking-in with the cereal malt staying in the aftertaste. Just like their regular ales, but with a little splash of cherries. I do not mind this one at all.

Bottle: Poured a light clear reddish color ale with an average size foamy head with good retention. Aroma of grainy malt with light cherry syrup notes. Taste is a incredible mess with gross notes of cherry syrup with unrefined grain which clashes with the cherry notes. Body is quite light with OK carbonation. Incredibly bad and one of the worst from a brewer that you seek a career change.
