Bottle at bu11zeyes. Not a traditional dubbel at all. Pours with a small, off-white head. Hazy deep amber body. Aroma of rye, toffee, berries and chocolate. Taste of fruits, chocolate and berries. Syrupy with light carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34: Poured a clear medium amber color ale with a medium foamy head with some good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet malt is dominating with a light yeasty finish. Body is about average with some good carbonation and no alcohol was discernable. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed by this one and I was expecting more complexity and some dry fruits (figs) component.

A brick red hazy brown ale with a thin light moka head. Aroma fruity aroma of pears and yeast, with light alcohol. In mouth, a very sweet malt, with cane sugar, spices and light warming alcohol. Something was a bit off about this beer, not enought roasted malts, too sweet. Trade with Piscator, May 2007.

Amber, hazy. Some lemon candy and bubblegum aroma. Quite sweet, with bubblegum, pepper, lemon and lots of honey notes. Slight plasticy character, which is something I get in abbey ales - a phenol particular to some abbey yeasts I presume. Late, heady alcohol. Just too sweet for my tastes.
