330ml can from Home Bargains, Filton. Golden in colour, with a slight haze and tight, white, head. Sweetish aroma of citrus hops, tangerine and lemon fruits. Flavour of rich tea malts, a touch more fruit and a hint of earthiness, leading to a dryish finish. Fine.

[33cl from Home Bargains, Festival Park, Etruria, as Microbrew Perch Rock Pale Ale.] A golden amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; fruity aroma with a touch of citrus; fruity taste with a malty body; and a drier finish. A satisfying APA.

330ml can: BB 3rd Dec 2021. Drank at home on 19th Mar 2021 during a random tasting session with myself. For the money this was very good. Lasting white crown on a clear golden body, almost lager like in looks. A good hop nose and flavour on a decent malty base, light citrus leanings and a pleasant bitter finish. Paid a lot more for 'less'!

Can from Home Bargains, Salford. Golden with a thick frothy-bubbly head. Has a floral-perfume nose, some in taste where a bitterness is more dominant, and somewhat malty.

Can from local Home Bargains. There’s lemon and pineapple in the aroma here, but not a huge amount. Pours a bright yellow with a healthy white head and some lacing. Some bitterness at first in the mouth, but then tropical fruits take over. Pineapple, lime and mango, with a sweet and juicy texture. Bitterness comes back in the finish, but it’s still mainly fruity. Pleasant enough, but not wildly exciting.

330ml cheap can from Home Bargains. Pale gold, thin white head, some retention. Aroma of floral peach, lemon. Taste is light floral, peachy, citrus, pale malts, slightly too sweet. Light bodied but good carbonation and quite refreshing. Nothing special but decent for what it is.
