Depuis 1920, les établissements Guillet élaborent les cidres bouchés Kerisac à partir de pommes à cidre issues des vergers bretons. Celles-ci sont renommées pour leurs qualités gustatives ainsi que leur puissance aromatique, finalisée par une légère pointe d'acidité rafraîchissante. Une large gamme de cidres bouchés déclinés en 4 variétés :

• Doux (alc 2% vol)
• Demi-sec (alc 3,5% vol)
• Brut (alc 4,5% vol)

Bottle. Clear golden with tiny white head. Aroma is apples, juice and a little sulfur. Flavour is apples, sweet, sugar, juice and medium dry.

Bottle @ Fastelavnssmagning 2012, Ulfborg. Pours clear golden with bubbles on top. A bit of svovl and sulfur. Green apples and mild barnyard.

Clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, apples and apple juice. Flavor is medium sweet. Dry finish. 180212

06/06 0.75 l bottle courtesy of Marko I guess, or from our joined trip to Graz, thanks for sharing anyway! It poured copper body with tiny head that lived for quite long time! A bit rotten apples in aroma, cork, apple juice, not bad actually. Sweetish apple flavor, might be a bit too sweet for a brut, though not too much, pretty full bodied with tingling astringent, but also sweetish finish. Not a bad cider, but just average for French standards.

As Kerisac Cidre Breton Brut Cuvée Réservée (4.5%), purchased somewhere in Graz, Austria. Poured a full golden body with no head. Sweet apple juice nose, slightly corky. Slightly gluey sweetish appley taste, a bit tangy/acidic. Ok, very light acidic aftertaste. Not bad, not crazy good.

Draught at Crêperie Le Petit Morbihan, rue Odessa, paris
Golden color. Fizzy apple juice, semi-dry,with light lemon sourness, very light vinegar; it’s not a special cider, but the final is even a bit weaker.

Deep golden colour with gentle carbonation. Aroma is light apple and fairly evident alcohol, resulting in a stewed/rotten apple character. The flavour is light, sugary and mild. The body needs the soft carbonation to cut through a slightly cloying texture. Tastes remarkably like Baby Duck, maybe a bit less syrupy. Thankfully, the off-flavours and alcohols dissipate as it warms.
