Bottle passed around @MBCC 2022, Red Session. Cloudy pale golden, no head. Honey and light wood aroma. Sweet flavour, honey, light rum warmth.

MBCC, courtesy of a friend. Hazy very pale without head. Aroma is sweet, honey, vanilla nd light rum. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 140522

Bottle. Hazy pale golden color with no head. Aroma is pretty simple beeswax, some vanilla, a bit straightforward, apple phenols. Taste is the same, almost cider-like. Not exactly for me.

Bottle from Etre. Pale, clear, yellow. Raw honey, quite a bit of oak. Slightly astringent. Surprisingly low sweetness. Not much vanilla to be found.

Clear pale yellow mead, no head. Aroma: pears, bit fruity, some honey, smells very nice! MF: no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, lots of honey, some vanilla, bit fruity, sugary, quite some alcohol, nice. Aftertaste: fruity, pears, bit oxidized, lots of alcohol, decent stuff.
