Dorothy (1921 – 1994). This wine barrel-aged version of our dry-hopped, Farmstead® pale ale is conditioned in oak barrels for 9 months prior to bottle conditioning. Crafted from American malted barley, malted wheat, New Zealand and American hops, our distinctive yeast blend and water from our well, this beer is dry hopped prior to packaging and naturally bottle conditioned.

Thnx to Koen Ko. Pours rather unclear, light pale yellow. Small white head. Smell is refined, mild tart, elegant. Bit malty as well. Taste is full, elegant, refined tartness. tad fruity, rather dry. Very subtile, yet clear, maltyness. Very nice, skillfully brewed saison. Oak is very hidden. Incredibly balanced.

750ml bottle at Kump’s during Pink session. Bottled on 2017-04-04. Pours a hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma is funky, fruity with barrel notes. Taste is quite complex with lots of funk, barrel, fruitiness, slight candy sweetness and noticeable hoppy bitterness. Great one.

750ml bottle, Batch 2. Pours hazy yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of vinous grapefruit, fruits, oak, funky yeast and farmyard notes. Taste is funky, woody, oaky and slightly vinous with some farmyard, tartish fruits and grapefruit. Finish is funky, slightly tart and earthy with some farmyardy notes, oak and vinous fruits. Really well balanced and complex, nice one.

Lucky Bamboo bottle share. Pours a clearish gold with a full 2 fingers of champagne-like foam that lingers. Vinous muscat on the nose with grain and grassy aromas. Clean and crisp. Some muscat skin and more vinous notes that permeate the palate. Some restrained tartness and mineral notes on the palate. Perfectly executed...would be amazing in summer.
