Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Batch #3 with cherries and blackberries like batch #2. Lots of tart berries in the aroma with funk, tart cherries, red fruits, blackberries, oak, light pale malt. Flavour is tart and moderate sour with a somewhat dry finish. Body is medium. Strikes the right chord with me, with its tart red fruits and funky notes.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles' place. Cloudy red. Currants, oak, funk, cobwebs, vinegar, a bit of pickled vegetables, sour, a bit acetic.

Tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 4th October 23. Pours a dirty red, pink, not much of a head. Aroma is tart fruits, cherry and berries. Taste is tart, berries, funk, complex. Very decent

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 19 Feb 2023) Dark red colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of cherries, black-currant and blackberries. Fruity, tart taste with black-currant, sour cherries, blackberries and a dry and tart finish. Medium body, dry. Good acidity and a rich berry character. Very nice.

(as Nevel Gloed (Batch #5). Sample (thanks fonefan!). Reddish amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is red sour berries with some tart wooden notes and mild acidity as well. Flavour is floral, fruity, tart, some acidity, mild herbal and some red berries to it. Rather dry palate.

Batch #5 2021 Really really nice tart and fruity aroma - like a fruit lambic with lots of red fruits. Flavor is quite tart, dry, sour red fruits, bitterness from wild yeasts. not *that* much vinager salad dessing flavor, but not sugar sweetened fruits either, more like proper sour beer with tons of fruits adding a bit of fruity sweetness. Still pretty tart and refreshing. Not as clean as the very best lambic's, but a lot cleaner and smoother than many beers labelled as wild ale/fruit. very well done.

Rusty red brown colour with no head. Aroma of sour cherries and oak. Taste is extremely sour and quite vinegary. Fruity flavour is nice but acidity is too high.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear bright purple, small pink head. Aroma of cherries and butter. Tart with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Cranberry tartness, old cheese, cherries and raspberries. Low bitterness.
