House Of Pale

Ma canette était étiquetée To Øl et titrait 5,5 %. C'est une bière agréable que nous propose ici To Øl pour tous ceux qui aiment les Pale Ale orientés sur l'houblonnage à cru avec des arômes herbacés très présents. Le cocktail herbes, ananas, agrumes avec une pointe résineuse n'en est pas moins appréciable. On regrettera toutefois une bière quelque peu stéréotypée toutefois, avec une vivacité poussive notamment sur l'amertume (moyenne) et avec un alcool limité et limitant. En verre nous sommes sur un blond paille trouble, une faible effervescence et une très légère mousse. Le nez laisse dévoiler un houblonnage à cru très présent avec en complément agrumes, ananas et une touche résineuse. Ce cocktail, nous l'aurons tout au long de la dégustation avec cependant une complexité honnête et une densité aromatique intéressante. Mais si l'attaque présente une bonne vivacité, cela se complique dès la seconde bouche qui devient poussive et sur une amertume pas assez saillante. L’arrière-bouche est quant à elle principalement axée sur les arômes herbacés. La corpulence est limitée toutefois, comme la longueur avec un final, plus sur le fruit qui s'écrase. Agréable, bien q'un peu pâle.

Disig gyllengul vätska med vitt tjockt skum. Apelsin och citrus i aromen. Lätt juicig i smaken med en ganska låg beska. Kort eftersmak med en lätt munutfyllnad.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 26/08/21. Moderate haze on an orange amber pour with an off white head. Nose is bitter orange, ripe melon, light pine, grass, hint of stoned fruits. Taste comprises orange peel, grass, pine nip, weed, light dank strokes, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive hop bitterness. Decent enough pale carrying a good bitter reposte.

Can at home from Supermarche. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is decent airy malts, wheat, sharp citrus lemon, mellow tropical notes, peach and mango. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rouned base malts, wheat, peach melba, orange slices, tangerine. Palate is semi sweet, soft airy carbonation , decent. Spicy citrus in the finish.

Burk från SB. Disig gulorange vätska med lågt skum. Humlejuicig NEAPA. Tropisk frukt, lätt och relativt torr med lite snäll dank humle. Kanske inte den piggaste humle och friskaste smaken men helt ok. Gott

Can from Kvickly as “To Øl House of pale” @ Home. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of light malt, fruity hops, citrus. Flavor is light bitter, light malt, rich fruity hops, tropical fruit, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 170821

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Blackley. Golden with a thick frothy head and hazy. 5.5%. Citrus based pale all with some bitterness, but not too much. Its fruitiness is at its best in its nose.

American style pale ale by Danish standard To Øl, can shared by Craftmember. Medium thick, egg-white, fine-bubbled, slowly breaking head, hazy apricot blonde robe with somewhat beige-ish tinge in the end. Aroma of kumquat, orange zest, melon, lychee, orange cake, biscuit, lemon candy, crackers. Sweetish onset, clean lychee, melon and mandarin fruitiness, softish carb, smooth mouthfeel, bit oily; slick biscuity malt sweetishness with aromatically hoppy ending, very orangey but also offering notes of lychee, kumquat and some mango in a convincing, yet only softly bittering way, as befits any typical APA. Aromatic, elegant and correctly made, a very pleasant if rather predictable example of this style.

Can. Nose is sweet mango peach. Taste is mango, peach, lifted my a slight citrus note with lightly herbal hop. Both very forgettable and a nicer model of the production line
