Bon Samaritain is a top fermentation blond beer brewed in the tradition of northern beers, and "deglutinated" before bottling. It is a craft beer ''sur lie'', not centrifuged, unfiltered, unpasteurized, refermented in the bottle and therefore naturally saturated with CO2. The first gluten-free French beer, it combines innovation and tradition.

Gusher. Big lasting white head. Hazy orangey body with strong carbonation. Fruity mealy orangey aroma with nettles and spice notes. Dry-sweet nutty orangey taste with resiny earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy wooden resiny aftertaste with fruity mealy papery notes. An odd beer. Very unusual, but nice and drinkable. Probably the best gluten-free I’ve ever had. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

0.75l from saveur-biere. Hazy pale yellow, huge white head, enormous carbonation. Light-bodied, malty and slightly hoppy. Shy, pleasant sweetness in the background. Very high carbonation, otherwise really good.

17.07.2013, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, grain, hay, raspberries, weeds, yeast, cereal, caramel. Taste is slightly dry fruity, grain, flowers, hay, yeast, cereal, hints of raspberries. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, not bad for beeing gluten free.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Gluten free beer, ABV is 6%. Cloudy golden colour, huge white head. Fairly strong yeasty, fruity and mildly spicy aroma. Refreshing flavour, yeasty ond spicy on a slightly citric background, medium dry. Moderate hops. A bit too yeasty, but still a welcome addition to the otherwise limited selection of gluten free beers in Norway.

75cl bottle, BB 02/2015, split with Tomaz.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s 30th Birthday Bash - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Ian for a bit more Biere de Garde! Pours lightly fuzzy yellow with a fine, white cream head. Doughy malt nose. Dry pale malts in the flavor, light cereal and dough, some white sugar. Medium bodied with high, massaging carbonation. Light to medium sweet finish with dry dough and hay. OK.
