Nomad is a Czech dark lager (tmavé pivo) brewed with authentic light and dark floor malted barley, an assortment of roasted malts, and carefully selected noble hops. It pours a super dark, near black color in the glass and tastes presents with ephemeral and soft notes of chocolate, straw, and earthy noble hops. It honors tradition through learned knowledge, focused brewing execution, and patience. We are really in love with this beer and believe you will find it to be an exceptional cool weather companion. Enjoy!

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom. Aroma is toasted bread, molasses, light chocolate. Flavor falls with a mild hop bitterness for balance. Medium plus body. It has a hearty texture. This is an excellent dark lager!

Poured from a can, many thanks to Cunningham for this one. Shared with Leif. Scattered lacing from a fair, off-white head, deep black body. Roasted, almost burnt, aromas of chocolate malts, mid-sweet. Mixed malt-driven taste of dark, earthy chocolate and a touch of raisin. Roasted malty tail. Decent. (Harmar, 16.03.2025).

Tewkesbury draught (yay!), 1/7/23. Clear deep cola-dark-amber. Small, light tan head shows strong retention. So much soft mineral it's ridiculous...hints of cacao, minimal toast, some vanilla and rich honey-caramel base malt. Molasses on the end. No alcohol or flaw. Soft, malty, well-attenuated with cocoa and strong mineral. Lightly bitter licorice with rich caramel and honey providing most of the malt flavor, as it should. This is massively flavorful and drinkable as advertised, clean and not remotely over-specialty malted.

16 oz can from Tree House, Charlton, 3/28/22. Canned 2/21/22. Pours a nice medium brown color with a light brown head. The aroma is roasty, with light smoke (more, please) and some dark chocolate. Toasted bread and a little licorice as well. Flavorful, drinkable. Finishes lively. Excellent mouthfeel honestly, love the flavor and complexity. Delicious.

Can, from the brewery. Pours clear reddish dark brown with a large spongy tan head, roasted malt-dark chocolate aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter mocha-roasted malt taste, smooth thin body, long roasted malt finish. Very smooth, a good brew!

Pours a near black from a can, light colored head somewhat dissipates. Lightly roasty, chocolate notes are faint. Lightly sweet but also dry on the tongue. A very nicely understated but on point beer in a less-common style. Very good beer.

Pours mahogany-tinged cola into a shaker. Mocha pancake head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Milk chocolate and dark caramel aromas. Dry and thin with sweet caramel and toasted brown bread front to back. Lasting dusty chocolate finish.
