Quite hazy deep golden, straw and raw honey coloured body with a deep haze and tint along with a thinnish, two centimetre tall tan head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of citrus, pine, resin, flowers, alcohol and tons of medicinal bitterness - quite strong in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very floral flavours with a dose of grapefruit and lemons with some spicey pepper kicks towards the end, with a little hay dryness towards the finish, with a tiny dose of sugars as well, but relatively mild and dry. Aftertaste shows the citrus and grapefruit characteristics with a little dryness, some supportive malt, but no tropical fruits and not much else. Overall, a good enough and passable beer for the style, but not great or worth trying to find at all - even if you like New England IPAs! This is about as standard as you'd get for an East Coast IPA, without much added flavour profile akin to a New England IPA, but some noticeable hops, of course. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Springfield, Virginia on 22-February-2020 for US$1,67 sampled at my house here in Washington on 27-April-2020.

Mango and some light green onion. Pretty strong fruit aroma in the beginning and leaves off pretty clean with a little bit of light hop tang. Hazy orange pour. Can.

Can, TJ's CHO. Hazy pale gold with a large white head. Nose is lemon, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is orange, lactose, pineapple... not unpleasant, but nothing I'd seek out.

Pint at WF Pentagon City, pours a hazy lemon yellow with some fizzy white head. Nose is very approachable, lemon and grapefruit, lemon lime seltzer, some pineapple, some buttered biscuit. Flavor has a very balanced grapefruit and pineapple character, flowers and herbs now. Finishes a little spritzy. Not NE style, but pleasant.

Draft pour at Dominion Wine and Beer. Poured a totally hazy, almost dull neon green/yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was a little west coast spin on a hazy IPA? Lemon balm? Bitter grapefruit. Coriander?

Not bad, surprisingly dry for an IPA brewed with lactose, with a healthy dose of grapefruit, pineapple, and stone fruit against an earthy, grain-laced finish. Minor notes of vanilla and wheat round out the back end, but the sweetness is kept to a minimum. Not exactly a stellar example of the style, but very drinkable.
