Probably only one vintage of this? If so retry. But great.

Bottle, Cantillon Brewery, Brussels, 18 Oct 2019) Red colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with red grapes, cherries and sour raspberries. Fruity, tart taste with notes of grapes, tart cherries, red fruit, lemon and a dry and tart finish. Medium body, dry. A slight tannin harshness, but well balanced and really tasty. Very nice.

Bottle at Cantillon, pours a cloudy bright dark red with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dry red grape skins, gentle barnyard funk, and light leather. Flavour is exquisite, with lots of dry red grape skins, medium acidity, and light barnyard funk. Lots of bright grape skins, with just enough acidity. Beauty.

75cl bottle shared with Iznogud and his friend @ Cantillon Brewery/Museum (visited 31/10/2019). F: thin, white, not long lasting. C: shiny red, hazy. A: a lot of red/white grapes, Cantillon funky, woody, gooseberries, bit mineral, white wine touch, red berries. T: medium malty base, grapes, bit cherries, red berries, wheat, bit lactic, woody, light puckering, dry on the palate, quite nice complex grapes juicy, very good, fully enjoyed of course.

Bottle at the brewery. Very soft and nuanced. Sourness is not as aggressive as in some other of their beers, seems to have less acetic, less horsey bite too. The grapes on the other hand add several layers of interest, subtly yet noticeably influencing the resulting character. Excellent.
