Half pint at Grrrowlers. So many dogs. Dark, opaque brown, thin cookie head. Cocoa dust, instant coffee, cookie dough, vodka nose. Super cookie dough, semi-sweet, acidic cola, medium coffee essence, earthy char finish, drying full stop. Pretty thin but with a bittersweet backstop. This was great.

Can: Poured a black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, nutty, huge coconut. Taste is rich malty, roasted, chocolate, boosty, coconut sticks to your cheeks.

12 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours pitch black with minor dark ruby highlights and a tan head with great retention. Spotty lacing. Yes, it has a dark roasted malt and coconut aroma. As advertised, the flavor is a good blend of coconut and roasted malts with vanilla, chocolate and lactose notes too. Rich and sweet, not bitter. Very smooth and silky mouthfeel. Medium body. A touch light for a stout. Low carbonation. The 9.0% ABV is very well hidden. Tastes better than their regular Fur Slipper, but too rich (and sneaky strong) to have more than one.

(tap) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of toasted coconut, compote, milk chocolate; somewhat thick palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter and mineral finish, quite nice
