A session ale brewed to be light, crisp and easy drinking. For this gyle we have used late Citra & El Dorado hops adding a great combination of tropical, peach & citrus notes to balance the dry finish and the crisp malt body.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest. Citrus aroma. Hazy muted amber. Frothy foamy white head. Tangy citrus and quinine. Sweet edge.Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Enjoyable if not overly exciting.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured an orange with a white fast dissipating head. Aroma is hoppy, resin, piney, light fruit. Taste is bitter, hops, more resinous, piney, citrus, aloe, finishes balanced.

440ml can sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Drunk from the can at the livery. No comment on appearance. Taste presents a balanced, super light and easy-drinking blonde with gentle hop notes and soft malt sweetness, low bitterness. Very good.

Can from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden, slight haze, generous fluffy head. Nose - candied orange, light pine and citrus pith. Taste - overripe guava, plums. Quince. Earthy too. Grainy underneath. Palate - creamy if light body. Finish could be fresher. Overall - expected the palate to be fresher given the style.
