Triple NEIPA brewed out of wedlock with our favorite European troublemakers Whiplash, Garage & Naparbier. Covid-19 ruined the party we would have had in Dublin this July so we figured a virtual hang and collab beer would do... for now! All four breweries took a base recipe and added their own additional hops and twists to the beer. Our naughty version got a monster DDH of Citra, Strata and Amarillo! Think papaya and melon cotton candy! If like us, you thought Blue shell was the triple IPA of the year (it was) than your going to absolutely love this bad boy... A Similar body and mouthfeel with just a different array of tropical hop flavors. A perfect beer! Collect all four for the complete set!

Keg at Brewdog Paddington, London. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange, mango, tropical fruit taste and aroma. Really nice rich DIPA.

16 oz. Pours murky yellowish orange with a large cream white head with excellent retention. Aroma has notes of pine, citrus peel, vague tropical fruit. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness and moderate sweetness with flavors like the aroma.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy orange golden pour, patchy, tight white head. Tropical fruity aroma, melon. Taste continues, bringing some stone fruit notes as well. Funky , dank sweetness.

Can from Eltham Wines. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Nose is orange juice, papaya, mango, pineapple, nectarine. Taste is all of the above plus a spot of passionfruit & banana. Gullet warming alcohol burn. Bucket loads of citrus and tropical fruit in the close. Superb.

Tall can SophiesBeerStore.co.uk drunk watching a gold old John Wayne film. Pours hazy pale yellow, white froth atop. Aroma of fruity citric zest, some indistinct exotics. Smooth on the palate, largely sweet with a disjointed introduction of exotics and grapefruit zest with a pithy bitter presence. A little too sweet overall and lacks general finesse.

Can at home, from an online peddler - name escapes, 02/09/20. Murky orange with a light egg shell white head. Nose is bitter orange, ripe tropical fruits, pine resin, boozey whisper, melon. Taste comprises orange pith, light hop spice, grapefruit, pine, soft malts, restrained alcohol. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with moderately aggressive hop bitterness and a balanced rising boost. Slips down easy for double digit hops.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Softish smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth sweet malts, some creamy sweetness. A pithy tangy citric hop presentation that I found quite awkward. A touch of mango underneath into a light dry finish. A thoroughly disappointing affair.
