We profess our love for Simcoe pretty regularly here at Polly’s HQ – despite having been around the block a few times, there’s a reason this varietal remains as popular as it is; bringing some seriously punchy fruit flavours to the table. When we found our we’d be getting a shedload of Loral into the brewery as part of our hop contract this year, it made the most sense to pair up the super high pineapple sweetness of this new-to-the-brewery varietal with one of the in-house favourites. The result is an IPA with the high juice characteristics we’ve become so accustomed to, backed up with enough complexity to maintain maximum drinkability.

God munnfølelse, fin bitterhet og mersmak i avslutningen.

440 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Murky yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, pine needles and juniper, some yeasty notes too. The flavour is also citric and piney, not too sweet, and quite refreshing.
