Cask at GBBF '22 day 4, 05/08/22. Clear golden with a moderately appointed off white crown. Nose is grains, modest citric zest, grass, pale malts. Taste comprises dusty fruits, hedgerow, lemon rind. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair ... on the twiggy side.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 06/2021, at Krista, Uusikaupunki, 20210630) The beer poured golden and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, earth and herbalness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, fruitiness, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was earthy and bitter. A decent brew with clean hop notes.

500ml bottle from Appleyards. Clear gold appearance, good white head. Noticeably hoppy and bitter on the nose. Taste is indeed hoppy (why not call this a pale ale?) but sadly the bold fruity notes associated with these hops are completely lacking, with only a big dry bitterness remaining. It's ok overall, but when Cascade and Simcoe are involved you expect a fruitier profile.
